Spring 2027 housing near MSU, with a January move in
Starting at Michigan State in January, transferring in, or just need out of your current place? Here is how spring semester housing works, and a house that is open right now.
The house: 646 N Hagadorn
646 N Hagadorn is a renovated 4 bedroom bungalow in East Lansing with an attic hangout, a finished basement, in unit laundry, free parking, and one of the best yards on the street. The current residents move out in December, so you can move in this January.
Take it for the spring semester, or lock it in through the full 2027/28 school year so you are set for next fall too. It is the last Hardy house open for 2027/28.

Sublease or your own lease?
A lot of spring housing near MSU is subleases, where you take over someone else's lease for a semester. That can work, but you are depending on the original tenant and their landlord. Leasing directly from the owner means your own terms, your own move in date, and someone to text when something breaks.
